5 Vision Board Ideas to Help You Achieve Your Goals

I invited a few of my close girlfriends over for an evening of goal setting and arts and crafts. I wasn’t sure if it was something my friends would be into. I know not everyone is into resolutions like I am. After sending out a few feelers to the friends I thought would be especially skeptical, I was surprised by the resounding “Yes do it!” from everyone. Who can say no to arts and crafts with a side of soul searching? It ended up being a ton of fun and everyone got something out of it. If you haven’t already done so, I highly recommend making a vision board. It’s not only fun to do some arts and crafts but is also oddly relaxing. Seriously, when is the last time you used a glue stick? Not sure what to do? Use these vision board ideas to get you started.

5 Vision Board Ideas to Help You Achieve Your Goals: Use these tips to learn how to create a vision board and why a vision board can help you!
1. Use a Theme for the Year:

I love the idea of having a word of the year to focus on and it’s a great alternative for those that dislike resolutions. Keep that word in mind while thumbing through magazines and also write it out in the middle of the board as a friendly but bold reminder. Some ideas I’ve heard from friends: fearless, flexibility, now, connect, more.

2. Give Each Corner a Theme:

Have a ton of things you want to focus on this year? Devote each corner of your vision board to a compartment of your life such as career, wellness, spirituality, relationships, and personal.

3. Say What You’ll Do in 2017:

Use this as a prompt to get you started. Do you want to travel? Skydive? Learn how to juggle? Put it on the vision board.
