Welcome to the July Edit – a collection of my favorite things and finds last month.
1. My Fitness Pal: I’ve been using My Fitness Pal to log my workouts and diet. It makes it easier to track nutrients and portion sizes.
2. Frozen Bananas with Peanut Butter and Chia Seeds: While we’re on the subject of eating healthier, a frozen banana with peanut butter and chia seeds has become my new go-to dessert. It’s healthy and satisfying. Frozen bananas really do taste like dessert!
3. Younger: I recently started watching Younger on Hulu. If you’re unfamiliar, it’s about a 40-year-old who lies about her age and pretends she is 26. She starts working as an assistant at a publishing house and gets to re-live her twenties. She starts dating a hot tattoo artist, makes new friends, and gets to navigate her career. Liza is also an example of someone who is driven at work and consistently thinks of innovative ideas.
4. S’Moreo: We ran out of graham crackers when we were camping and made S’Moreos instead. Simply twist an Oreo in half, add a roasted marshmallow, and chocolate and put it back together. I bet adding peanut butter would taste great too.
5. Day Designer: Day Designer sent me The Strategic Planner and Daily Agenda. It’s been helping me stay more organized. Each day has a quote, the top three things on your to-do list, room for your schedule, a longer to-do list, notes, and space to put in plans for the evening. They have prompts for you to set goals, create a morning and evening routine, and track goals throughout the year. I’ve been using Google Calendar exclusively since college, and I’m happy to have another way to keep track of everything on my list.
6. Enza Essentials: I’m going to write a longer post about my new skincare routine with Enza Essentials but the sneak peek is that I love it. People keep telling me that my skin looks great and it feels great. I struggled with acne but this new routine is really clearing my skin. It looks and feels healthier.
7. Hydrangeas: Hydrangeas have always been one of my favorite flowers and I spotted so many beautiful ones this month!
