March 2018 Checklist

I like to write down my goals each month. It helps me remember then and stay accountable. Here are my goals this month!

March Goals:

  1. Train and run a half marathon if my leg feels better.
  2. Workout 5 days per week.
  3. Go to bed by 11 pm most weeknights.
  4. Write at least 5 Forbes articles.
  5. Cook dinner 3 days a week.
  6. Wake up by 7:30 am most weekdays.
  7. Cook two new recipes.
  8. Read a book and write another 5 Good Books roundup. (I’m currently reading Amanda Wakes Up.)
  9. Try a 10-Day Detox and write about it.
  10. Publish Elana Lyn posts two or three times a week.

And here’s how I did in February:

February Goals:

  1. Start running again once my shin feels better. (Yes, I ran a 4-mile race with my friend, Morgan!) 
  2. Complete BBG round one again. (Nope, I’ve been avoiding starting up BBG again and I’ve been going to group classes like yoga, spin, and barre instead.) 
  3. Go to bed by 11 pm most weeknights. (Yes, although I stayed up until 12:30 am finishing this book.)
  4. Write at least 5 Forbes articles. (Yes!)
  5. Try two or three different salad recipes. (Yes!)
  6. Pitch at least one new publication. (Yes, I’ll have an article in Equinox’s publication, Furthermore.) 
  7. Cook two new recipes. (Yes! They weren’t really recipes, I made them up, but they were good.) 
  8. Read a book and write another 5 Good Books roundup. (I read The Dollhouse and The Last to Let Go.) 
  9. Use my planner and always keep a detailed handwritten to-do list. (Yes!)
  10. Publish Elana Lyn posts two or three times a week. (Yes!)
