Valentine’s Day Date Ideas

Keep it Classy:

When in doubt, rely on the classics to set the tone for your romantic evening. Deliver Valentine’s Day roses to your sweetheart’s home or office for a work surprise. Consider other classic options like Valentine’s Day chocolate or Valentine’s Day cookies.

Take a Trip:

Getting out of town and spending an evening in a hotel, bed and breakfast, or Airbnb will help you leave behind the stresses of the real world, at least for one night. If getting out of town is going to be too much, consider booking a hotel room in your city. Even if it’s just ten miles from your house, changing your locale can have an impact on your evening.

Get Your Hearts Racing:

Want to really spark some fire in your relationship this Valentine’s Day? Get some adrenaline pumping by trying something new. Whether it’s skydiving, white water rafting, or mountain biking, getting out and active will be a unique way to spend your Valentine’s Day. There’s nothing like a rush of adrenaline to bring you closer together, after all. Check out Funsherpa.com for ideas.

See a Concert:

Use Ticketmaster to find upcoming events in your town. If tickets are sold out, don’t worry. Stubhub usually has good deals on sold out shows because people who can no longer attend often resell their tickets.

Your Very Own Classic Movie Screening:

Transform your home into your own personal movie theater. Close the drapes, turn off the lights, make some sweet and savory popcorn and creative conversation heart recipes, and project a romantic movie on the wall. Invest in a home theater projector. Some of our favorites are Roman Holiday, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, About Time, How to Loose a Guy in 10 Days, 10 Things I Hate About You, The Notebook, He’s Just Not That Into You, The Philadelphia Story, You’ve Got Mail, Sleepless in Seattle, My Best Friend’s Wedding, 13 Going on 30, Notting Hill, While You Were Sleeping, The American President, An Affair To Remember, To Catch a Thief, Sabrina, High Society, and The Proposal. Of course, Netflix or watching a DVD on your computer is also a good alternative!
