June 2018 Checklist

I like to write down my goals each month. It helps me remember them and stay accountable. Here are my goals this month!

June Goals:

  1. Pitch one new publication.
  2. Workout at least 3 days a week.
  3. Go to bed by 11 pm most weeknights.
  4. Write at least 7 Forbes articles.
  5. Go on a long bike ride.
  6. Wake up by 7:30 am most weekdays.
  7. Get 8 hours of sleep a night.
  8. Read a book and write another 5 Good Books roundup. (I’m currently All We Ever Wanted and really recommend it!)
  9. Cook a new recipe.
  10. Publish Elana Lyn posts two or three times a week.

And here’s how I did last month!

  1. Run a half-marathon. (Yes!)
  2. Workout 5 days per week. (Almost, I took time off after the half-marathon and I got a cold.)
  3. Go to bed by 11 pm most weeknights. (Almost!)
  4. Write at least 5 Forbes articles. (Yes!)
  5. Cook dinner 3 days a week. (50/50!)
  6. Wake up by 7:30 am most weekdays. (50/50!)
  7. Continue the Soul Cycle challenge I’m doing for a Forbes article. (Yes!)
  8. Read a book and write another 5 Good Books roundup. (I’m currently reading The Lying Game and really recommend it!) (Yes!)
  9. Meditate daily. (50/50!)
  10. Publish Elana Lyn posts two or three times a week. (Yes!)
