5 Good Finds: January 2020

I’m bringing back this series where I share five random things I enjoyed throughout the month. I hope you like it!

Runkeeper: I started training for a half-marathon and it’s been fun to start running again. I forgot how great the “runner’s high” feels. Runkeeper makes it easy to create a training plan. I shared my half-marathon training plan here.

“You”: I think I finished the entire second season of “You” in one long weekend. It about a stalker who becomes obsessed with the women he dates. In the first season, it’s Beck and in the second it’s Love. It is a total thriller and will make you re-evaluate how you use social media. I don’t like horror movies at all, but I love watching thriller television shows and books. “You” is based on a series of books by Caroline Kepnes.

Blondo Velma Boots: I needed new boots for winter in NYC and bought myself these boots in black and navy for Hannukah. They are comfortable, waterproof, make my legs look longer, and the navy is great because I often wear jeans and other navy clothes.

Rom-coms: I read “Waiting for Tom Hanks” been on the biggest rom-com kick ever since. I rewatched some of my favorites like “You’ve Got Mail,” “When Harry Met Sally,” “Notting Hill,” “My Best Friend’s Wedding,” “Say Anything,” and “The Proposal.”

Goodreads: I have had Goodreads for years but I haven’t always been good at keeping up with it. I recently started one of their Reading Challenges for 2020 and it’s been fun to keep track of what I’m reading and see what my friends are reading too. I always love getting new book recommendations! I hope to read 24 books this year and I’m off to a good start, I’ve read eight so far. Follow me on Goodreads to keep up with what I’m reading.
