The January 2017 Checklist

I’m a big fan of checklists and breaking up big goals into smaller, actionable goals. Here’s what I want to focus on this month! I hope this list inspires you to join!

  1. Volunteer for Martin Luther King Jr. Day (P.S. I like to volunteer at the JCC!)
  2. Work on the design for my newsletter
  3. Write three blog posts per week
  4. Read one book (currently reading Lilac Girls at night and Build Your Dream Network: Forging Powerful Relationships in a Hyper-Connected World on my commute)
  5. Meditate at MNDFL
  6. Continue with Sweat by Kayla
  7. Continue to read my favorite newsletters (Broadstreet, The Skimm, and The New York Times Daily Digest) on the way to work
  8. Pitch one new publication
  9. Use my Clarisonic three days a week
  10. Pack lunch and healthy snacks (current favorite lunch is a kale salad with mixed nuts, dried cherries, goat cheese, and sliced apple current favorite snack is a clementine (or two)

What are some things you want to accomplish this month? I’d love inspiration for my next list.

  1. I need to get back to my kickboxing routine this month, stop eating out as often as I do, start bringing a healthy lunch to work, and have a little more quiet time at home over the weekend–instead of always running around. Love your list this month!

  2. I read Lilac Girls a few months ago! It’s definitely the kind of book that stays on your mind when you’re done.

Since I don’t have much of a plan for 2017, monthly plans are what I need right now. I just want to focus on my blog content this month and post at least twice a week. Its going to be a hard month but I’m hoping for the best
