On Saturday I rolled out of bed, put on a robe, and walked to my front door to meet a lovely massage therapist. We exchanged pleasantries then walked to the living room where Gabrielle set up her massage table. After putting my sheets and a pillow on the massage table, I slipped off my robe and slipped under the soft sheet for a decadent massage. No, this isn’t my typical Saturday (I wish!) but it was the start of my experience with Zeel. Zeel’s motto is “massages on demand.” You can conveniently book an at-home massage from your phone or computer. Zeel asked if I wanted to review their massage experience. I said yes, please and created the perfect at-home spa day.
I went on the website and scheduled a session with a licensed massage therapist in minutes. You can choose a male or female massage therapist, a duration (as long as possible please!), and a type of massage (Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, or Sports). If you’re looking for a great gift for your significant other, they even do couples massages. I chose a blissful sixty-minute Swedish massage, selected a time, and a few minutes later received a text message and email confirming an appointment.
Lately, I’ve been very sore from BBG so the massage was perfect for getting out knots. Gabrielle was thorough and professional. I felt so relaxed and pampered. Afterwards, I lit my favorite candle, made a homemade scrub, took a hot shower, then sipped spa water while doing a hair and face mask and giving myself a manicure and pedicure. (Perfect at-home spa day!)
P.S. The book Brunette Ambition has great at-home spa day recipes and tips.
