The Monthly Edit: January 2016

The Monthly Edit is a monthly roundup of my favorite things each month.

Food:

I loved cooking with Hello Fresh! It took the guesswork out of grocery shopping and choosing recipes.

Home:

The Capri Blue Volcano candle is my favorite candle of all-time. It smells citrusy, clean, and fruity. I just bought a new one for my nightstand and it makes my entire room smell good even when it’s not lit. I love lighting a candle and crawling into bed with a good book.

Book:

I’m going to write a review of some of my recent reads soon, but my favorite book this month is the Pulitzer Prize-winning book, “All the Light We Cannot See.” I didn’t want it to end.

TV:

I watched so many episodes of “How to Get Away With Murder.” I love legal shows and thrillers and this one does not disappoint.

Fitness:

I loved rock climbing at Equinox!

Beauty:

I used a gift card to buy Nars Larger Than Life Long-Wear Eyeliner in Via Veneto and Nars Night Series Eyeliner in Night Flight. I like to alternate between wearing black and navy eyeliner. These are both easy to use and they stay put for hours!

NYC:

I saw the “Spring Awakening” revival on Broadway. I saw the original five times and absolutely loved the new one. It was so beautiful and emotional to watch it in American Sign Language and spoken English. Unfortunately, the show has closed.

Post:

I loved sharing the interview I did with my friend Emily Merrell.

What were your favorite things this month?
