NYC Guide: 25 Activities for the Holiday Season in NYC

I love the holiday season in NYC. There are so many fun activities to do! Here are some of my favorites and some new things that I want to do this year.

1. Visit Rockefeller Center to see the Christmas tree.
2. Get hot chocolate at Jaques Torres.
3. Visit the Union Square Holiday Market.
4. Admire all of the holiday windows on 5th Avenue.
5. Have a drink at bar with a fireplace.
6. Go to Le Parker Meredian to see The Gingerbread Extravaganza.
7. See the New York Botanical Garden’s Holiday Train Show.
8. Go ice skating at Bryant Park, Rockefeller Center, Central Park, or Trump Lansker.
9. Get hot chocolate or hot apple cider at Dean and Deluca and take a walk in Central Park.
10. Go to the Bank of America Winter Village.
11. Get hot chocolate and a cookie at City Bakery.
12. Visit the tree at The Palace Hotel.
13. Go to a museum on a snowy day.
14. Have dinner or drinks at Rolf’s.
15. Christmas Lights and Cannoli Tour.
16. See GingerBread Lane.
17. Visit Holiday Under the Stars at the Time Warner Center.
18. See the Metropolitan Museum Christmas Tree and Neapolitan Baroque Crèche at The Met.
19. Look at the Origami Holiday Tree at the American Museum of Natural History.
20. Go to Dyker Heights to see the festive Christmas lights.
21. Watch them light the Menorah at Grand Army Plaza or across the street from The Plaza.
22. See the Holiday Train Show at Grand Central Terminal.
23. Go sledding in Central Park.
24. Eat latkes at the Great Performances Latke Festival.
25. Go to Holiday on the Hudson in Riverside Park.
