Fitness Files: NYC Fit Week

I’m so thrilled to be an ambassador for NYC Fit Week: Fit for Good! NYC Fit Week is a week long event that supports two nonprofit organizations, Health Class 2.0 and She’s the First. A group of the top fitness studios in NYC are donating 100% of proceeds to Health Class 2.0 and She’s the First. Health Class 2.0 is an experiential learning program helping New York City youth engage in conversation and education about health, food, and exercise. She’s the First sponsors girls’ education in low-income countries so that they have the chance to become the first in their families to graduate from secondary school.

This year the following studios are participating: 305 Fitness, Beatbox Fitness, BFX Studio, Brooklyn Body Burn, EMPowered Recess, Exceed Physical Culture, The Fhitting Room, FitBallet, Kermbooka Dance Fitness, Swerve, Natalie Uhling Fitness, Tone House, UFC Gym, Throwback, and Uplift. I’ve been to some of the studios before and can’t wait to try new ones!
